Artist Bio:
Ezra Muir grew up on a small farm ,in a town outside of Cincinnati,Ohio. He knew he was born with a gift and never imagined the world he would see,by painting his way through life and around the world. As a young man he decided to go to college not far from his home town,he attended the University of Ohio,and majored in chemistry and Zoology. After graduating from college,he found himself confused,for art was really his passion. The natural born artist emerged and lead him to New York City,were he was embraced.What ever moved and inspired him,he put to the canvas with ease and confidence in every stroke. Painting after painting would move into a gallery and sell as fast as he could paint.He took his talent to Europe were once again it was embraced with as much ease as his brush to a canvas.He painted in Paris, Zurich and Italy and found not only could he be the man he was born to be, but he could see the world as well.
Ezra finally decided he wanted the inspiration of a world he only dreamed of seeing,so he headed to Australia where he found himself inspired and painting and even wanting to educate.So he began to travel within Australia giving seminars in art schools and showing his art in galleries in Sydney. After several years in Australia he left for Bora Bora and Bali and found the deeper he fell in love with the pacific the more calming his style grew. Natural beauty is what moves the artist,so he traveled to the Caribbean and Latin America,painting his way across the globe. A few years later he found himself wanting his Pacific yet again,so he packed up his family and easels and brushes and found home in Hawaii,where still today with his wife Noel they reside.The love of the tropics is what guides the paint to the canvas to create what some believe is the most tranquil and peaceful art they have ever seen.
Ezra Muir has incredible integrity as an artist, and keeps all limited editions small and feels the need to give himself to every piece by hand touching with gliding colors to every artist proof that's created,making each piece truly unique and special.
